NYSSMA
I have helped many students successfully prepare for NYSSMA adjudications. Almost all of my former students competing at Levels 1-4 received Outstanding or Excellent ratings, and almost all former students competing at Levels 5-6 received scores of A+ or A. Let me help you! We’ll decide on an appropriate level, pick a piece, learn the notes and any foreign language, memorize the piece and feel confident performing in front of a judge. I also offer sight-singing training including learning how to identify key signatures and time signature, recognizing the tonic note, being able to distinguish between different note values and rhythms, solfège singing (Do Re Mi…) and learning how to identify and sing intervals.
