Mischa, a professional singer based on Long Island, maintains a private studio comprised of students of all ages and abilities. Before moving to Long Island, Mischa was a voice teacher at the Musical Arts Center in Cincinnati, and taught privately in Boston and Birmingham, AL. He holds degrees in Vocal Performance from Boston University and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Mischa has performed throughout the U.S. and in Europe and Mexico, notable at Carnegie Hall; Symphony Hall in Boston; the Walt Disney Concert Hall in L.A.; the Shed and Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood; the Elizabethan Theatre at the Folger Library in D.C.; Popejoy Hall in Albuqureque; the Angela Peralta Theater in Mazatlan, Mexico; Muraltengut in Zurich; Monstein in Davos; and the Sunset Center in Carmel, CA. He has been praised by The New York Times for his “rich timbre” and “fine sense of line,” and called  a “delight to encounter for the first time” (Pittsburgh Tribune-Review).

Mischa has performed with many of today’s leading conductors and groups, including Keith Lockhart and the Boston POPS; Sting; American Bach Soloists; Bronx Opera; Boston Symphony Orchestra; Mark Morris Dance Group; New York Festival of Song; conductor James Levine; Long Island Philharmonic; and many, many more.
